Men's Ministry

The men of Weddington Baptist Church meet the 3rd Sunday of each month @ 7:30 am for a fellowship breakfast followed by a time of prayer and a Bible devotional.  They also take this time to plan events and outreach.

Women's Ministry

Our women's ministry is called "Woven Threads". Our vision statement is "to form community among women that promotes godliness, fellowship and inspiration."
We strive to accomplish this through prayer meetings, Bible study and a variety of gatherings.

Senior Adult Ministry

The Senior adults meet once a month for fellowship and a variety of other activities.  Day trips, luncheons and sight seeing ventures are just few of the fun things they do together.  The main thing is that they enjoy being together and sharing their lives with each other.

Weddington Missionary Baptist Church has been involved with the AWANA children's program since 2009. This program is a tried and true way of teaching children about Jesus and having fun doing it. There is a time for learning and a time for snacks and games.

Senior Adults, Women’s, and Men’s Ministry Unite for Easter Outreach: Sharing Joy and Blessings with the Community

March 20, 2024

In a display of unity and compassion, the Senior Adults, Women’s, and Men’s ministry recently came together on Thursday evening, March 20th for an outreach project aimed at spreading Easter joy throughout the local community.

The project centered around the creation of beautifully crafted baskets brimming with love and treats. The baskets contained freshly baked bread, jars of jam and honey, along with an invitation to Easter Service.

Each item was thoughtfully selected to convey warmth and hospitality.

Armed with baskets overflowing with goodies and hearts full of goodwill, they set out into the community on Saturday the 23rd. In total, they distributed 15 welcome baskets to their neighbors, each one a symbol of kindness.

Central to the project was the belief that their efforts were a conduit for God’s blessings to flow through. A special prayer was offered as the bread baked, for blessings upon both the givers and receivers.

Through their collective efforts they exemplified the true spirit of Easter, spreading love and goodwill far beyond the confines of our church walls.
